After walking miles with my full camera bag yesterday with very little reward for my efforts, today I went for a shorter walk with only my phone.

This fungi reminded me of slices of agate. It was growing along the full length of a 2 m branch. I took a photo which turned out to be the only one of the day. The leaf was already there !
