Pond blossom

The weather this St Andrew's Day was mild and dry enough for me to spend a few hours in the garden today. I managed to tidy up a sizeable corner of the border, ready to relocate some of the shrubs on the next suitable day. While I was out there, I saw that there were still quite a few Water Hawthorn blooms floating on the surface of the pond so I just had to record this as they have usually all disappeared by the end of November.
