Another Lightning Trip To Maine

Up early early this morning to load the car with boxes of stuff ordered for the Maine cottages -- they were beginning to take over our apartment!  A good thing we got an early start, because the weather is pretty awful right now (currently 3:45 p.m., and safely back in Boston), with torrential rain and howling winds.

It wasn't raining in Maine when we got there, but it was very gray and foggy.  This image is straight out of the camera (not black and white!) of the limbs of a tree silhouetted against the pewter gray waters of the Back River -- with a lone duck thrown in for extra points.

Extras:  A bit of Maine charm -- a lobster buoy we inherited with Periwinkle Cottage, and a broader view of the river, taken looking out of the living room window.
