Focus on the Mrs.

Mr. Bluebird is obviously a sky blue showstopper, but focus on the Mrs today for a second. She has really lovely markings too. This shot shows   the beautiful shade of blue mid-back between her wings flowing into her magnificent tail detail. Today we saw three, two males and the female. I'm hoping they might stay around this winter to brighten our days.

Looking out again I see two males and two females. They make me so happy! We must look into some Bluebird houses.

This day came in cloudy after a night of wild wind and lashing rain. Our power stayed on, but we did fear for our surrounding trees.
