Very sloe gin

I discovered this week that we have a huge crop of sloe berries near the house. I also learned that we have a sloe gin making in the loft. So after collecting a suitable batch we plan to make some.

We’ve never made it before and we are about two months behind the fermenting period, so we will miss Christmas, but hopefully we can enjoy some nice sloe gin in about Feb. Family and friends who have behaved during the pandemic may get a batch
