Outgoing tide

Back to grey and murky conditions today. As the breeze blew clouds of misty rain in from the west, another older member of our community was buried, this time at Calgary graveyard.

These gulls were enjoying bathing in the brackish water at the head of the loch where the fresh water of the river dilutes the saltiness of the sea water with the receding tide.
