TO MY SURPRISE!

This little orchid was given to us from our near neighbors when we first moved in, that was nearly two years ago.  I'm afraid I have rather neglected it since so I was surprised when it flowered.

It is in the utility room on the windowsill.  We don't have a window in the kitchen.

Rather a gloomy day today, weather wise and very cold.  Can't help feeling we will have snow early this year.
