A view from the window

A day of mixed weather and I started it by heading to the gym which is now open.  Two classes LBT and Pilates which was enjoyable and good to get back into the swing of them.  As our daughter and family are arriving later today we had lots of household chores to do.  I also had a zoom bookclub meeting in the afternoon which was enjoyable.  We were discussing a very thought provoking and enjoyable book called The Sealwomans Gift by Sally Magnusson it was about a woman from Iceland set in the 1600's and surprisingly raises issues that are pertinent to today.

Our daughter, husband and grandson arrived late afternoon as we have formed a support bubble.  Little L has changed quite a lot since we last saw him, so much more hair, a lot bigger and getting around more easily although he is not walking yet but can stand against a sofa for a short period. Blips of him will no doubt follow over the next few days.  Todays blip was a quick shot of the view looking out the bedroom window.

On other news the UK medicines regulator the MHRA have approved the first Covid vaccine provided by Pfizer BioNTech, great progress and doses should start to be available fairly quickly
