Serpentine Miniature

I have been collecting serpentine for quit a while. It is getting harder to see good examples of it because it has been taken out of the ground over the years and it just getting harder to find good pieces.

This is one of the smallest pieces I have. I have put in on a 5 pence piece to give it size. The man who make this at the Lizard, not longer does because his eye sight is going. So it is a very special piece of work. He said at the time it was much more difficult to make than larger pieces.
