Testing ...

T has been experimenting with controlling lights from his smart phone. 

In addition to this new bulb in the "big light" which he can switch on and off and change the colour of, we also have new plug adaptors which means he can switch lamps on and off even when he is outside the house. 

There are many benefits but also some disadvantages e.g. I could be sitting watching TV and get plunged into darkness.  I must install the controllers on my own phone. 

There are also manual over-rides. 

Aside from this today saw a visit to the dentist for a scale and polish and then a mixture of Gaelic practice, yoga, lunch and reading a draft PhD (my last link with academia). 

Tonight we plan to watch 42nd Street which is being streamed this weekend.
