Stunning Light

The real sunset is further west (other side of the house) but this light, as I glanced up from my laptop, was so beautiful I had to get outside. Within a very few minutes it has changed from blues and pinks to this intense orange and then it was gone!

I got seriously distracted this morning by some dead tulips as I started to clear them away from my Studio room. They have been dying slowly over many days and I have recorded their progress - or should that be deterioration?. However, before they went in the bin, I spent quite a while with different compositions - too interesting to just throw away. Then they went to the compost heap!
