Kaiserslautern, Albrechtbrunnen

Took a picture of this fountain on my way home from our annual staff meeting.

The fountain is from 1890.
It is also called "Saubrunnen" because of the in 1911 added sculpture "Boy with Piglet":
A symbol for the old civil right of driving your hogs to the forest for mast.

hist: mast [the fruit of the oak and beech or other forest trees, used as food for hogs and other animals]

Press "L" for large boy and piglet!
