Busselton

Day Three.
Busselton Jetty, is the longest Jetty in the Southern Hemisphere, it was first opened in 1865, its been extended numerous times, to its current length of 1,184 metres. It ha slash burnt down in 2000 and repaired with concrete flooring in parts to minimise the risk of further damage.
We walked the full length even though there is a small passenger train trundling up and down, it passed us once or twice.
At the end of the Jetty is an underwater observation centre, one of only five in the world apparently. we didn't go down, maybe next time?
The sign post was at the end of the Jetty, quite interesting to read how far everyone else is in the world.
On the way home we dropped into Yalligup a small surfing town, the beach was a stunning view as we rounded the bend in the road.
