Rough Water

After a morning coffee with Cosmo we went to Banchory for a walk by the River Dee. Not many people around, maybe they have all headed elsewhere for Christmas shopping.

The river looks quite high and was flowing fast over the rocks creating a turbulent surface to the river. Might have been a good day for canoeists as long as they went with the flow of the river.

There was am interval for a few hours in the morning when we had some sunshine after the overnight rain, in the afternoon it clouded over again but stayed dry.
