The obligatory Christmas tree

We spent today getting ready for Christmas, a full ten days earlier than usual, but the need for festive cheer has never been greater. We were ably assisted by the local grandchildren who did a great job, and we all had such fun. Now enjoying the ambience, the coal fire and the candles, and being alive.
