Wind Blown and Shrivelling up

.....Because of the heat

My cousin had some Bearded Iris's she wanted to give me as they had to be thinned out. As I arrived at her place one of her brothers which she hasn't seen for some time and likewise me.. turned up at the same time. So my short visit turned into lunch and I didn't arrived home until late afternoon. It was a good catch up.

John been watering the garden this morning but I only noticed the hose after I took this shot!. It has been really windy all day and the temperature in my car coming home ranged from 30 to 32c. It was to have been around 27c. The official temperature was only 29c on my phone. We are in for another hot day tomorrow. Hopefully it will be more 27c than 30c.
