A celebratory first

Today's first was to drive myself to the nearby town of Lincoln, have coffee, go somewhere quiet for a brain break, and drive home again.

I carefully chose the time and cafe destination, and it worked out perfectly. A quiet drive with no inconsiderate drivers, few people at the cafe, no one near me outside, no piped music, and too early for young families.

For those of you curious about the non-hpx choice of food, I was feeling nostalgic and wistful. I took Dad to The Pantry in Lincoln for coffee. He would have enjoyed the scroll (probably more than me).

I'm sure that he and Mum enjoyed seeing me nail another goal on my concussion recovery.

Today's gratitude: For gentle achievements.
