Sparrow at bathtime in icy water!!

What a horrible day.  Icy cold wind and lots of rain.   The morning disappeared and I am not sure where it went to.  This afternoon I have made another huge saucepan of butternut soup.  Soup is our standard lunchtime meal during winter so we are going through quite a lot.
