Why Christmas...?

I was delighted to see this display in the window of The Entertainer toy store. It actually said its display was to remind all shoppers of the reason we celebrate Christmas.. it is the birthday of Jesus. The shop was doing a good trade. I had a browse round and there are some amazing toys and games to be had.

We managed two long standing trips today. One to take my summer sorting to our local charity shops and another to the recycling tip. Very satisfying and I know there are some nice goodies ready for new homes.

It has been really chilly all day and another hottle bottle evening.
