Leagrave Kite

An early start today with some software updates being done at 07:00, so started in true Shirking From Home / Zoom meeting fashion, in the PJs until it was time to get ready for medical appointment No 2 for this week.

Off to the hospital for an echocardiogram. I went in 10 minutes early, and came out 20 minutes late, so what was supposed to be a 30 minute procedure actually took an hour, no wonder I was desperate for the Gents afterwards!

It being a nice day, I walked home, a mere 5.5 miles, much of which was walking alongside the River Lea. On the way I was treated to a display by this Red Kite (see also extras). Having replaced the second lens in my mini camera bag with all of my medications, I didn't have the optimum lens with me, and I wasn't in the best spot, but still good to see and gave me quite a lift on the way back.

Then this evening was a Prostarte Cancer UK Active Surveillance Support Group meeting with one of their specialist nurses talking about managing anxiety, well worthwhile.

One more medical appointment left this week, my first review with the Urologist since the cancer diagnosis, that's tomorrow's highlight.

Leagrave in the title refers to the location, not the breed!
