In between claiming some headphones he'd found on the sideboard and deciding to go for a run, George spent a few moments with the cat. 

"Aw, Indy's a nice old man these days," he said. "Old cat, I mean," he corrected himself. 

Hard to disagree. He's not the temperamental furball he used to be.
