Hellebore

The petals of this Christmas Rose were so wet they were almost translucent.

My gardening boys are coming on Friday for a final collection of fallen leaves and to prune about 12 inches from my pear tree which is just too tall ... they will deserve their Christmas bonus after looking after my garden throughout 2020.
