Alstromeria

I visited the garden centre early today and did some useful Christmas shopping. It wasn’t very busy which was a relief, I have heard tales of queues and crowded stores.
At home I got up into the loft and brought the Christmas boxes down. I have started putting up some decorations and hanging the cards, so it is beginning to feel like Christmas.
Not quite Christmassy, these alstromeria were in tight bud when I bought them a week ago, but now they are large blooms and really striking.
