Masked

I didn't realise I was standing in front of the Elevit shelves.  I promise you I am not pregnant.

I read a report yesterday  which it said that Australian like to think of themselves as larrikins.  The truth, however, is that we are a nation of rule followers.  And indeed we are.

The Government has mandated that masks are to be worn in all medical settings, whether it be a pharmacy, Doctors' Surgery, or whatever.  So that's what we do.  No questions asked, no dissent.

It's also mandatory to scan a Q-R code to enter all places that have a Covid-Safe plan (if you can't scan you have to manually sign in).  This includes all shops, restaurants, supermarkets, cafes, hotels.  Pretty much everywhere.

So that's what we do.

The plus side of following the rules, is that we have no active Covid cases in the State at all - nothing, zilch, nada.  And we haven't had for the past 3 weeks or so.

All in all, we have had less than 600 cases and only 4 deaths.

Yes, we are indeed the lucky country - but only because we follow the rules.
