Sam and Max's first Hanukkah

Tonight was Sam and Max's first Hanukkah and today is also Andrew's birthday! We lit the candles and had a nice dinner. After the boys went to bed, I surprised Andrew with a piece of lemon merengue cake (from the store, no time to bake these days!) because he loves lemon. Then I sang him a song, because that's always what he wants from me for his birthday. Easy for me, plus I love singing! We hope next year, both Hannukah and his birthday will be more fun and celebratory.
