Dame Barbara

Sad news this morning that Dame Barbara Windsor died yesterday, as she was a real star. I know a lot of people remember her as Peggy ‘get outta my pub’ Mitchell, however, for me, growing up as a kid in the 70’s, I’ll always best remember her for her roles in the Carry On films.

I remember reading Kenneth William’s diaries and he thought a lot of Babs (see entry from his diary above) and had many laughs and double entendres with her over the years. 

Thanks Babs for the laughs over the years, you will be missed.
