Some Christmas Reading

I don't throw out all my old Christmas cards and this is one that I have kept for a number of years. This card, showing shelves of books, was so different from the ones I normally receive.

The card was from a former colleague who helped to look after our primary school library .... after her husband books are her next love. 

We were supposed to be meeting up, along with two other ex teachers, in March but due to Covid that had to be cancelled. We all live in different regions and are hoping that some time in 2021 there will be no barriers to keep friends and family from meeting up.

The weather today couldn't have been more dismal .... nuff said!
