Antique

A busy day. Friends coming round for a bowl of soup and then a walk tomorrow so a quick tidy up - surfaces and the kitchen table attended to. Social distancing will be observed. The soup is made as are some mince pies. We each tried a pie - the pastry is superb, even though I say so myself, but the mincemeat is ghastly - it tastes a bit like nail varnish remover. What a shame and there's not time to make any more.
A yomp around the circuit, white hydrangeas still looking pristine though I have grunged them up a little.
