Fog

I was immersed in fog for much of the day, and for once that's not metaphorical.

Visibility ebbed and flowed. In the pastures below Moorside you could just about see from one tree to another - but the woods in the valley bottom were lost to view. Here's this same scene from an earlier blip, on a clearer day.

And it was nice to have a surprise visit from Niece #1 on her Christmas delivery rounds. We were able to have a socially distanced catch-up in the community garden next door.

One more week at work before breaking up for Christmas, but quite a busy one and my festive preparations are a bit behind too, so no big rest yet. A mini-rest through the weekend is welcome though.
