Emergency Bauble Blip

As I've mentioned, we've kept things very low key the last couple of days. This is because Kate phoned us on Tuesday evening to say she'd lost her sense of taste and smell; there have been a few cases of Covid where she works so she got a test first thing on Wednesday.

She was woken up when the result was emailed to her at 2am this morning. Unfortunately it was positive, so she, Joel and Sophie have to isolate for 10 days now (presumably).. We haven't been contacted by the Test and Trace people yet so we're hoping that the fact it's a week since we met up outdoors for Tess's socially distanced birthday BBQ means that we aren't considered at risk.

Anyway, we haven't experienced any symptoms as yet (touch wood) but to be on the safe side, we've avoided contact with others and will keep ourselves to ourselves until we've got the all clear or are sure we're not going to develop any symptoms.

Kate still has no sense of taste of smell or taste and has developed a bit of a cough but says she feels no worse than a normal cold at present. Hopefully she'll begin to feel better soon.

As a result, we've not got gone anywhere today so here's an emergency blip of a bauble that Sophie painted for us from a kit we bought her from Lidl a couple of weeks back.
