Ganesha Still Life

On a day when I have not had a chance to take any photographs I was looking round the house for something to blip and my eyes lighted on this little wooden figurine of the Indian God, Ganesh that my wife brought back from the time when she did some voluntary work in India. I was only able to light it with one LED light as the battery had drained on my other two lights. Other wise it might have been a useful opportunity to experiment with lighting techniques. Ganesh who tends to be invoked before starting any major enterprise is traditionally the patron of intellectuals, bankers, scribes and authors which I think is quite a motley crew.
