Something different

Walk down the river before breakfast, few jobs and then went for a longer walk along one of our running routes. Called in to a coffee shop on the route to pick up a takeaway, never used it before and never will again the coffee was terrible. Three ladies inside, two worked there not sure about the third, none wearing masks.
Hubby suggested that this afternoon we watched Lord of the Rings so he set the fire in the sitting room and we settled in for three and half hours. Not something I would normally do but really enjoyed it. Hetty played a while with an old sock and then settled on the sofa with us.
Made a chilli for dinner, and had a glass of red while cooking, as it’s Friday.
