Ho Ho Ho

Today was surely a day.
That’s spoken as one would say he went to the dentist today and had three teeth pulled, sort of a day.

It was a day of meetings with the board I’m on. That meant eight hours on zoom, on the screen.

I suppose that wasn’t even as difficult as the work we had to do. It was emotional work, difficult work as our decisions would effect people’s lives.

And, one of our board members, his son passed away from Covid just days ago. So there was just a heaviness to the day.

So tonight I’m sitting and staring at the tree. The lights and colours mesmerize me.

Glad this week is now behind us.
