First time in a 4-

Pippa sent me this photo of her training in a 4- (Pippa on 3). Due to Covid the rowers of the freshwomen’s eight selection of Aegir have been training in skiffs and only recently in C4’s. They are now allowed by the authorities to row in the much faster (lighter and much more unstable) 4- and 4+...
So these unexperienced rowers are now trying to row in this boat class that in my student rowing days were completely out of bounds for first year rowers.
