Some Like It Hot

Lockdown restrictions reduced to Tier 3 from today which allowed restaurants to reopen until 6pm, but sale of alcohol prohibited. We took full advantage and reserved a table at out local curry house, we didn't manage to finish the nan breads. After the meal we visited a friend who had just reopened her wedding dress shop, advising us that so far she has had 300 weddings cancelled, I'm glad I took early retirement.

My album of the day is "Pearl" by Janis Joplin. She sang psychedelic-soul-rock-blues with such ear shattering intensity that Pearl is a convincing argument she was the premier blues singer of that era. Highlight is "Move Over", the hit single that never was.
