Leiden marathon

This year's Leiden marathon was first postponed, then cancelled. The financial loss must have been phenomenal, but last month you could sign up for a tenner and virtually run or walk the distance. I'm not running at all these days for fear of catching a cold but walking I do very well. And I did. I downloaded an app that traced my route and speed, and crossed the line in fifth position in my category. Today I got the medal in the post.
