Patterns on the ground

The day started sunny but cold with a 2% chance of rain so we headed off early for a walk along the coast path.  It was a lovely walk but we managed to get caught in two rain showers but fortunately they didn't last too long.  On our way back I noticed several of the fields had interesting patterns where the main crop had been harvested leaving behind brown stalks.

A quick trip to the allotment to pick some leeks and it looks like the oka will be ready to pick now, that should be interesting.
