Mists in Borrowdale

Really grey day morning to late afternoon - it hardly seemed to get light. At about 3, the thick grey layer of cloud that we'd endured all day remained, but below it mist was forming. Popped straight down to the lake where I could get a good view of the mist forming - and a few convenient stones in the foreground. However, 67mm focal length couldn't get the foreground rocks and the distant fells in focus even at small apertures, so I focus stacked this shot - only two shots, one on the rocks and one on the background.

A 0.3ND filter stopped the sky from blowing out and allowed me to keep detail in the shadow areas of the foreground rocks.
