Out with the old

I spent a week in Derbyshire with my father, who turned 96 since I Iast saw him, and who still lives alone with the support of excellent carers and kind neighbours, although he's lost much of his mobility and a lot of his short-term memory. It was the first time I'd been able to stay with him since the start of the pandemic, and it was good to be together. I was able to help him to be just a little more active. I also got a new fridge delivered and the old crumbling one carted away. It's never too late to replace the fridge.

We had some nice meals too - mostly made by me, but on the last night we ordered a takeaway from the friendly pub just down the street (in extra).
