Bunbury

Bunbury was established in 1836 and named in honour of its founder, Lieutenant (at the time) Henry Bunbury. A port was constructed on the existing natural harbour soon after, and eventually became the main port for the wider South West region. Further economic growth was fuelled by completion of the S.W railway in 1893, which linked Bunbury with Perth.

We climbed the look out tower (extras, views over Bunbury) spent a great day here, and  a lowly coastal walk which w enjoy.
Before returning to our site we called into the Margaret River chocolate factory, we had to pick up some chocolate for the children of course :-)) the viewing room (last pic) was my fav!! what a job to go to everyday!
