I do like a plump tart

A Sunday afternoon spent baking with the Ottawackers:

Mrs. Ottawacker does the work. Ottawacker Jr. gives the instructions. I finished off the bottle of cooking sherry left over from the trifle.

Seriously though, the first foray into mince pies was relatively successful. But the extra pastry being used for jam tarts was the real success story of the afternoon.
