Oh deer

As we slid around on the path between the fields behind the zoo we were astonished to see some deer in the distance, who started running towards us down the path.  We stood and waited for them to come around the corner and I got my phone camera out ready... but I was too slow.  

In the blink of an eye the deer had spotted us, turned around, and was running back the other way.  I was quicker off the mark than Jess though who stood stock still but didn't even attempt to chase as you can see.
