Really dark morning

Eleven minutes past ten in the morning.  What a dreadful night with rain drumming on the windows well past midnight.  However, the day did brighten from about eleven o'clock and it was dry.  I could have taken a picture of a red sunset if I had taken my camera when I went walking around 4pm; but wasn't to be.
