Party time

Woke early and packed all my things up ready to collect V and get into the office for an early meeting. The day went by in a blur, then at 4 we improvised an office party (5 of us sitting round the edge of the big room, rather different from last year’s crush of 120 in the dining hall!). V had organised a quiz which we all got different questions correct but somehow managed to end up with the same overall score (can you name all of Santa’s reindeers or the date Love Actually was first released or the first Christmas card was sent?!). The prizes were hilarious...things left at the back of the stationery cupboard for the last few years!
We all had a laugh and it was so nice to just sit and chat for a change. Dropped the rather tipsy V off at home (I was on the 0% alcohol fizz unlike the rest!) then back to catch up on email, chat to A and prepare for tomorrow.  Very tired so headed to bed
