Kirkenes

Today, we reached Kirkenes, the last stop before heading back north, and almost at the border with Russia. The harbour in Kirkenes was frozen over it's that cold up here. I went snowmobiling, which was great fun. It was right out on a frozen fjord and the conditions were perfect and we saw wild reindeer. Just a little bit cold on the face though, it was -6 ºC, but with the wild chill at 60 kmph they said it felt like -40 ºC! I chose this photograph as my main blip, rather than one of the snowmobiling as I just love the 'beach' huts at the side of the frozen fjord, patiently waiting for summer.
