Budleigh Pines

I met up with my photo pal, John today. We met at Budleigh Salterton and it was throwing the rain down when we arrived. Because of the Tier 2 restrictions we're not able to have lunch and a pint as we'd usually like to do. We waited it out in our individual vehicles and it wasn't too long before the shower passed. The midday sun was low over the sea and very strong. I chose to concentrate on these lovely pine trees that are a focal point in many views of Budleigh beach. The wide angle lens and a 10 second exposure gave the clouds a radial shape which I like. The wind was strong and very cold and after a short while another shower had us retreating back to the cars.

Once it cleared we decided to walk up the River Otter as it might be a little more sheltered inland. It was and it was a pleasant walk with some nice light at times. An enjoyable day.
