In a Nutshell

This tiny mouse is fast asleep in a walnut shell and he's been in there for almost 50 years!  My high school friend made this ornament for the first Christmas tree that PD and I had at his apartment when we were dating.  Sadly, I've lost touch with her over the years but our little mouse is still snug in his bed and brings back happy memories.  Many thanks to carol_dunham for hosting TinyTuesdays in December!

I am grateful for the nonproductive restful day I've had!  I've done laundry but not much else. :-)
