Old photo

Today I received this old photo from a London friend who took this photo at her 35th birthday party. The empty glasses were not mine!

I had of course never seen this photo before. It was taken at the old Wembley Hilton hotel during a lunch break at the event I was shooting on video. It was the 1994 EFBB British Bodybuilding & Fitness Championships. The birthday girl had won the event 2 years before.

The lady sitting with me was the wife of a well-known gym owner and publisher, and a friend since 1970. She is still doing well, now in her mid 80s. Anyone on Blip who knows the UK fitness industry will know who she is.
