We believe that Lorna's father Albert is the author of this funny account of the traumas of buying, wrapping, and posting Christmas presents.

Craigmore is the name of Lorna's paternal grandparents' house in Bristol. (It is now part of Glenview nursing home - see https://glenviewbristol.co.uk/. There is further information about the house in the text for the blip of 12th April 2020.) 

Aunt Daisy is Lorna's great aunt, the sister of her paternal grandfather Gabriel.
