A Sunny Time

... in between darkness and fog, and I suspended my work to plug the electric car in at Darmstadtium basement parking lot. This is the view from the Congress Centre’s abandoned summer terrace over to the Palace, its Renaissance part with the bell tower in the front. When in mid-18th century the landgrave’s funds were exhausted, the plans to rebuild the palace were halted, and so the old part of the building complex fortunately survived. Today it houses a museum, the newer part from 1720 is utilised by the Technical University.
